What’s Not Included

The Knockout™ system works because it has clear boundaries.

Just as important as what’s included in the price is what’s intentionally not included. These limits protect the one-visit promise, keep pricing fair, and ensure every Knockout™ visit stays focused and productive.
Here’s what is outside the scope of a Knockout™ visit.

Remodeling or Renovation Work

Knockout™ visits are not designed for remodeling or renovation projects.
This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Kitchen or bathroom remodels
  • Flooring or tile installation
  • Cabinet replacement or reconfiguration
  • Room additions or layout changes
These projects require planning, design decisions, and multiple days on site, which conflicts with the one-visit model.

Structural or Permit-Based Work

Any work involving structural changes or local permits is not included.
Examples include:
  • Structural framing or load-bearing modifications
  • Foundation repairs
  • New electrical circuits or plumbing runs
  • Work requiring inspections or permits
Knockout™ visits focus on finishing and adjustment work—not regulated construction.

Large or Specialty Installations

The Knockout™ system is not a fit for large installations or specialty trades.
This includes:
  • Major appliance installations
  • Custom fabrication or millwork
  • Roofing, HVAC, or major plumbing work
  • Projects requiring specialized crews or equipment
If the work goes beyond standard handyman tools and materials, it’s outside the scope.

Multi-Day or Open-Ended Projects

Knockout™ visits are designed to start and end on the same day.
They do not include:
  • Projects that must be split across multiple days
  • Ongoing or recurring maintenance work
  • Open-ended task lists without clear priorities
A defined finish line is essential to the system.

Specialty Materials or Parts

While standard consumables are included, certain items are not.
Not included:
  • Specialty fixtures or custom-ordered parts
  • Materials not provided or not on-site at arrival
  • Items requiring extended sourcing or lead times
Missing materials may reduce scope but do not extend the visit time.

Changes to Scope During the Visit

To protect focus and fairness, Knockout™ visits do not include:
  • Repricing tasks mid-visit
  • Expanding the list beyond the original intent
  • Negotiating additional work during the appointment
Additional ideas can be noted for later, but the visit stays focused on the original list.

Why These Limits Exist

These boundaries are not arbitrary.
They exist to:
  • Prevent scope creep
  • Protect quality
  • Keep pricing predictable
  • Ensure every visit ends cleanly
Saying “no” to the wrong work is what allows the right work to be done well.

The Takeaway

What’s not included matters as much as what is.
Clear limits are what make the Knockout™ system:
  • Fair
  • Efficient
  • Reliable
One visit. One list. A clean finish.
